Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. She is professionally known as Aurora. The name of her can be spelled as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band to promote John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are two of the artist's most notable covers. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway with her voice, also gave her the track a little more attention. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding an instrument in her attic and being awed by the sound it could produce. Parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for professional or as a pastime, but for growth. So she started making her own lyrics. Like Bjork and Bjork, she also credits Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother had told her that her songs can aid in her gaining popularity, but also help people see the importance of their music to the world and appreciate the possibilities for the songs, she decided to start performing in public. She started playing piano when she was just six and began writing music when she was nine. The family members didn't know about it until she reached 14. It was never a dream for her to achieve Aurora. As she says, she is a fan of writing songs. For her, music is the most effective way to experience whatever.
